St Marks reach semi finals of Club Championships

After the first days play at Shaws Bridge St Marks Portadown have once again reached the semi finals of the Club Championships in Shawsbridge. St Marks beat Cooley is first round then Larne Falcons in second round and after beating Tamlaght in the third round it set up another clash with 1st Ahoghill who beat St Marks I'm the semi final stages last year. The game was tight throughout but St Marks held on to win by 3 shots overall. St Marks will now play Benvarden in the semi finals on Fri 11 Oct.

Good luck to Drumgor and Armagh GC who play next Saturday. Drumgor take on Christchurch in the opening round and Armagh GC face Clontibrett.

St. John's Moira Pairs

St John’s Moira are holding their annual open pairs tournament (licence no. A/1/2013/2014) commencing on Tuesday 29 October. Section nights are Tue 29 October to Fri 1 November with finals on Saturday 2 November 2012 with the usual excellent prizes.
