2009-10 Fane Valley League
Reigning champions St. Anthony's have the privilege of kicking off the 2009-10 league fixtures with an away game at newly promoted St. Pat's Maralin. Will they retain their title for a third year or will one of the other big 3 take it off them?
Who's favourite for the drop? And who'll get up to Division 1? Alot of questions and alot of bowls to be played to decide the answers!
Please use this thread to give you opinions on the league and post results! The faster the results come in the more up to date the tables will be!

2009-10 Armagh Zone Cup
The draw has been made for the 2009-10 Armagh Zone Cup (formerly the HSBC Cup). Last year's winners St. Anthony's have been handed a tricky tie against St. Matthew's, but the tie of the round is undoubtedly St. Mark's against last years runners up St. Saviours.
There has been a rule change this year. A team must play a minimum of 6 ladies (previously 8) with at least 1 lady in each rink.
There are 16 teams entered this year, so the full first round draw is as follows:
Queen St. -v- St. Paul's
St. Mark's -v- St. Saviour's
Kilmore -v- Tandragee GC
Tullysaran -v- Portadown GC
St. Pat's Blue -v- Markethill
St. Anthony's -v- St. Matthew's
St. John's -v- Waringstown
St. Pat's Maralin -v- St. Pat's Gold
First round games to be played on or before 17 October 2009. Q/F to be played on or before 28 November 2009. S/F to be played on or before 6 March 2010 with the final scheduled for 25 March 2010.
